Uniform

At Studio Six we have a range of branded and personalised uniform you can order direct from us.

For weekly classes we expect the appropriate uniform to be worn (see below) or leggings/shorts and a tight vest/T-shirt (casual gym/dance wear)

Appropriate dance shoes are to be worn and hair tied back with no jewellery.

All Ballet classes should wear ballet leotard tights ballet shoes and hair in a classical bun

Tap/Modern/stretch/Technique classes leotard and tights are preferred

Exam Uniform 💖

At Studio Six we offer exams with the British Theatre Dance Association in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Singing. For these exams, the following uniforms are required: (exam uniform can be ordered through IDS https://stu.mydancestore.co.uk and shade of pink is dependent on grade)

For all exams, presentation should be as follows:

NO make up (except Jazz Medals)
NO jewellery
NO nail varnish
NO underwear showing

Silver / Gold Rose / Prep / Primary Ballet

Pink Skirted Leotard or pink leotard and circle skirt
White Ballet Socks
Pink Ballet Shoes (with elastic) Hair gelled back into a bun (short hair should be secured with a net)

Introduction to Grade 1 upwards

For jazz a funky costume should be worn, the more colour and sparkle the better! Make up is a must!

For singing the costume should be appropriate to the routine being performed eg; torn dirty dress for Annie song
